Sadly,Signing Off.

Today I am posting on my personal blog for Education 5163 for the last time(but remember I have another blog that I will keep going which is assistivegroup.blogspot.com feel free to check it out).

It was amazing to see such diversity presented in everyone's blog, with everyone exploring such different aspects of the writing process a multitude of information was shared.  It will take a long while to browse everyone's blog but it will be worth it.  Some really cool features that I would like to check out right away would be to make a movie with  Extranormal, look up the song writer's iPad app that Janna talked about and the writing Toolkit app that Barb presented.  I think these would be of interest and helpful for children.  It was good to hear about SymWriter(again proves no matter how much we resesarch there is still a lot to find) and the benefits of this in writing.  Krista and Julie's translation app was a pretty neat feature that was presented.

The course proved to be amazing! At first when Barbara started sending the links, articles, and things we needed to download I started to panic.  The feeling quickly dissipated when we arrived in class and I realized most were entering into the same unfamiliar territory.  I really enjoyed breaking down the reading and writing processes.  As a resource teacher we are expected to 'know' all the answers when another teacher comes to you with issues of their students having difficulty.  The first thing now that I will do will be to delve deeper and assess where the breakdown is occurring and to also see whether there is a technology match to help with their issues.I have found some great apps that I will use in my career as a speech and language resource teacher that I will share with the school SLP.

Have a great summer and thanks everyone for making this such a wonderful experience!!
