Class App Presentation.

Today the class had to choose their top three apps (which was hard for us because there are so many good apps that we wanted to share).  It was really good to see everyone so excited about their apps that they had to present.  It was obvious that everyone had different perspectives on the apps they chose.  People are coming from different backgrounds and teaching professions so all apps varied from emergent, to higher level levels of reading to relaxation.  One question that came up was what does the relaxation apps have to do with reluctant readers?  So what do you think the answer is?  Think back to why students may be realuctant readers.  They may have anixety about reading and transitions may be hard so a relaxation app can foster a clamness.  Hopefully then the reading process will not be as daunting and stressful for the student.  It was a very fun, informative class!!!!

Not much use on the iPhone today because it is locked up and the tech center has to look at it.  Thank goodness it worked earlier so I could show my app but I am at a loss now of what to do without my phone and all its uses.  I am 'sure' it will be up and running tomorrow.
